Their AI devices recruiter was messaging me as late as Oct 22. Did they not have insight into their revenues for at least a quarter? They were hiring frantically till the month they announced the layoffs. People who joined meta one week ago, were laid off. He could have at least taken the Zuckerberg route of sharing a note with the employees and showing some empathy. My opinion, but I have zero respect for this guy.
The whole episode of laying off staff has been handled in the worst way possible. He may be a genius but he is a terrible leader/role model. But they also last forever, at least the ones I owned and I am only onto my second MacBook since 2009! They took all those upgrades and updates and kept performing well, without slowing down. The MacBooks were and are very expensive.

The reason is that while Twhirl uses system fonts installed on your computer to display tweets, the Flash-based rendering of system fonts on OSX can ruin them although the developers say that the Verdana font at 12pt works best. The problem is that once you're up and running, you may notice that some of the fonts aren't rendered very well in Mac OS. Setting up your various accounts is easy as your taken through the process via a wizard. To get started, you'll obviously need to download Adobe AIR first.
